I should be fired!

There's no question, I am the worst indie author on the planet. Hands down. I mean, who else tries writing and selling books, but is a ghost online? Yeah, just me! Well, who wants to help me change that? I need serious help and I'm looking to build a group of folks who'll do just that! So, if you'd like to be a part of something I know will be great, fill out the form and be prepared for awesomeness!!!

Simply Smyrna Celebration

I live in a suburban city outside of Nashville, TN and periodically throughout the year the city holds festivals, or celebrations, for various reasons. Tomorrow night they are holding a celebration for the reopening of the train depot, which they've recently remodeled as the first step in the downtown revitalization project. Since they're holding this celebration my friend and I have decided to participate and support our city while they, hopefully, support us! If you live in or around Smyrna, TN please stop by!

Here are some photos of my supplies!

Fangirling

I may have mentioned a few times how much I love movies and books, but I'm not sure I've talked about my favorite TV shows much. I don't have many, but those I do are guilty pleasures and I am not afraid to admit it. Supernatural, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, Being Human (US), True Blood and Game of Thrones are my current indulgences. I also started watching The Following with Kevin Bacon, but I haven't had the time to go back and watch that one. I might be doing so very soon, but sometimes it's the baby steps! If you haven't checked out any of these shows, most of them are on Netflix. The HBO shows are on HBO Go online or the app, but I think there are other ways of watching them. Most of the websites for the networks they're on allow you to watch certain episodes online for free. It's just too good to pass up.

On another note, has anyone written any fan-fiction type of stuff about their favorite show? Sort of similar to the LARPing episodes of Supernatural? I am normally not a huge fan of fan-fiction, but I can appreciate the creativity and encourage anyone to write what's inside their heads. Watching shows like these can do great things for a writer's imagination and I know I've been inspired several times. Well, that's my morsel for this evening. I'm off to talk about more shows on Facebook. Feel free to join in the conversation!
